Job summary

The Lakes Home Care Services in Florida is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily living and personal care in patients' homes according to an established plan.

You will assist with baths, grooming, feeding, and safety, record vital signs, and communicate effectively with the client, family, and office. CPR certification and Maxim competency are required, with a flexible, part‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Meets training requirements per state and federal laws where applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care.
• CPR certification maintained as required by state regulation.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living tasks per plan of care.
• Bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Safe transfer and ambulation; assist with ROM as ordered.
• Perform range of motion and simple procedures as directed.
• Handle patient laundry and maintain safety with equipment.
• Observe safety practices and communicate with the care team.
