Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients in their homes under an established care plan in Florida.

You will perform daily living activities, monitor vital signs, document care, and communicate with supervising nurses to ensure safe, high-quality home care. This part-time role offers flexible hours and competitive compensation, with training provided to meet state standards.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• CPR certification and ongoing competency training are required.
• Completion of Maxim screening examinations and Maxim competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities per plan of care.
• Bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding and mobility support.
• Record vital signs when ordered and report changes to nurse supervisor.
• Support safe transfers and ambulation; observe home safety and equipment use.
• Document care and communicate clearly with client, family and office.
• Follow plan of care and complete all assigned tasks.
