Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily living and personal care in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan in Miami, FL.

Responsibilities include assisting with baths, grooming, feeding, vital signs, safe transfers, and observing patient conditions. Requirements include state/federal training, ability to read and follow instructions, current CPR, and Maxim competency program completion.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements per state/federal laws.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Maxim screening examinations completed as required.
• Participation in Maxim competency program completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care per plan of care.
• Take and record vital signs when ordered and demonstrate competency.
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and ROM as ordered.
• Provide laundry and light housekeeping related to patient needs.
• Observe and document patient condition; report changes to nurse supervisor.
• Maintain patient safety and use equipment safely.
• Communicate clearly with client, family, and office staff.
• Follow plan of care and complete all assigned tasks.
