Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. in Florida is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients at home according to an established care plan.

You will support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the supervising nurse. A CPR certification and ability to read and follow care plans are required.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements per state and federal laws.
• Able to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Maintains current CPR certification as required by state.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation and completion of Maxim's competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living tasks per plan of care.
• Perform baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding.
• Take and record vital signs as ordered.
• Support safe transfers and ambulation.
• Provide range of motion exercises as directed.
• Handle patient laundry.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Observe and report changes to the nurse supervisor.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and office staff.
