The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide daily living and personal care in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, and hygiene; taking and recording vitals when ordered; safe transfers; ROM and routine exercises; patient laundry; safety checks; and reporting changes to the supervising nurse.

Formación

• Meets all training requirements per state/federal laws as applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification per state regulation.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assists patients with baths, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.
• Takes and records oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and BP when ordered.
• Supports safe transfer and ambulation, and assists with prescribed exercises.
• Assists with range of motion and simple extensional therapy tasks as ordered.
• Cares for patient laundry and maintains home safety practices.
• Observes safety needs and uses equipment properly.
• Observes and teaches home safety practices; emergency recognition and response.
• Follows the patient care plan and completes all assigned tasks.
• Communicates clearly with client, family/caregiver and office; reports changes to the nurse supervisor.
