Williams College is seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our Temporary Exam Proctor pool for the 2026-27 academic year. Proctors help maintain a secure Testing Center environment during midterms and finals, handling exam materials and providing basic logistical support to students.

Hours are primarily Monday–Friday 9am–5:30pm with potential evening shifts; shifts are flexible and offered as-needed throughout the fall and spring semesters.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills are required.
Candidates should be dependable and able to monitor students quietly and impartially for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Monitor the Testing Center to provide a secure, quiet environment for exams.
Administer exam materials and support students during exams.
Uphold academic integrity and address student questions calmly and impartially.
