Allied Universal looks for an enthusiastic Event Security team member to support a conference center in Fort Myers, FL. The role includes bag checks, access control, and guest assistance in a dynamic event setting.

Requires 18+ years old, HS diploma or equivalent, and a valid Security D license; background check and drug screen will be conducted. Part-time schedule with weekly pay and flexibility to fit student or lifestyle needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• As a condition of employment, candidate must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Control entry by verifying tickets, wristbands, badges, and traffic flow.
• Screen guests at entry via bag search, metal detector, and ID verification.
• Protect guests, staff, and assets by monitoring for security breaches at checkpoints.
• Respond to crowd control issues and escort unruly guests when necessary.
• Understand policies, procedures, and regulations of venues and events.
• Provide a positive guest experience at facility entrances, aisles, or concourses.
