Job summary

Allied Universal® Event Services in Punta Gorda, FL is hiring Event Security for a conference center. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and a chance to work in a dynamic event setting, with weekly pay and opportunities to gain security experience.

Requirements include being 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Florida State Security License. No prior security experience is required, and you will help with access control, bag screening, and guest assistance at venue

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test required.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event day preparation and execution.
• Allow entry into each venue, verify tickets and direct guests.
• Screen guests during entry using bags, wand or metal detector and verify IDs.
• Protect guests, staff and assets by monitoring security at checkpoints.
• Respond to crowd issues and escort unruly guests when needed.
• Follow venue policies and provide directions to enhance guest experience.
