Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Part-time as-needed Construction Inspector to join our Construction Management Team in Tampa, Florida. The Inspector will observe, inspect, and document field activities across municipal water and wastewater projects, reporting to the Resident Engineer or Project Manager.

This role offers variable hours aligned to workload. Ideal candidates bring extensive inspection experience and a strong technical background in civil/mechanical construction, with proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

• 10 years of mechanical/civil/utility construction inspection experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction work performed by contractors and document findings.
• Review drawings and specifications; prepare daily activity and progress reports.
• Attend construction, safety and project coordination meetings; assist with contractor invoicing reviews.
