Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a full-time Construction Inspector to join our Construction Management Team in Sarasota, Florida. This role requires strong mechanical/civil/utility inspection experience and a focus on safety, QA/QC, and accurate reporting.

You will observe field work, review documents, prepare daily reports, attend meetings, and support project coordination while ensuring compliance with contract documents and Arcadis safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 10 years of mechanical/civil/utility construction inspection experience.
• Ability to review drawings and specifications and provide solutions.
• Proven experience in field management, safety, and QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction work performed by contractors.
• Perform punch list inspections and review drawings, specs, and documents.
• Prepare detailed daily activity and progress reports/photos.
• Attend project meetings and document site coordination and safety updates.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and labor for field changes and invoicing.
