Job summary

Griswold Home Care is actively hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults across Howard County, Maryland. Flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a supportive team await dedicated caregivers.

Requirements include CPR certification, background check, and a valid driver's license with reliable vehicle. CNA certification is a plus but not required; 1 year caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• CPR Certification required.
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Willingness to travel within the Carroll County service area.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments.
• Dementia and memory care support.
• Keeping families and the office updated with regular care notes.
