Job summary

Griswold Home Care is seeking part-time caregivers in Westminster and surrounding Carroll County communities, with travel within the service area. A CPR certification is required and a TB clearance is needed. CNA is a plus but not required; one year of caregiving experience is preferred.

A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with current insurance are essential. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, PTO/holiday pay, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Willingness to travel within the Carroll County service area.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments.
• Dementia and memory care support.
• Keeping families and the office updated with regular care notes.
