Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Frederick County is seeking part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking support to older adults in Frederick County.

You’ll assist with bathing, dressing, light housekeeping, and errands. CPR certification is required; CNA is a plus. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are needed, with background checks completed. Flexible scheduling and team support are available.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• CPR certification required.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• Caregiving experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Willingness to travel throughout Frederick County.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and daily personal care.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Run errands or transport clients to appointments.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in daily activities.
• Maintain clear communication with the office to ensure consistent care.
