Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Howard County, Maryland is seeking part-time caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services across Howard County. You will work with older adults in their homes, delivering respectful, safe care and maintaining open communication with families and the office.

Ideal candidates have CNA certification (a plus) and CPR certification, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. TB clearance and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required for caregiver roles.
• TB clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration.
• Must pass criminal background check prior to employment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments.
• Dementia and memory care support.
• Keeping families and the office updated with regular care notes.
