Job summary

Griswold Home Care for Howard County, Maryland seeks part-time caregivers, PCAs and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults throughout Howard County.

You’ll enjoy flexible scheduling, paid weekly, PTO & holiday pay, health/dental/vision insurance, mileage reimbursement, and growth opportunities while making a meaningful impact in families’ lives. CPR certification is required; CNA is a plus.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is a plus, but not required.
• CPR Certification required
• TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
• At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel within the Carroll County service area
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments
• Dementia and memory care support
• Keeping families and the office updated with regular care notes
