Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Response Patrol Driver for Odessa, TX. This role offers reliable fixed shifts with optional extra shifts to increase earnings, designed for flexible, income-stable part-time work with potential progression toward full-time schedules.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, Texas Level III Armed Certification, and 3+ years of related experience or 5+ years in armed security.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, stockrooms, loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity records, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
