Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer – Flexible in Universal City, TX. This part-time enhanced role offers a fixed schedule with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, while you work toward a longer-term security career with the industry leader.

Pay rate is $15.50 per hour. The position requires a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Valid Texas Level III Armed Guard Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and employees while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct armed patrols of the retail location, parking and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and disturbances in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting observations per site procedures.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in compliance with laws and Allied Universal policies.
