Job summary

Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking an Aftercare Aide to supervise students in the school’s aftercare program, provide guidance and care, assist with homework, and facilitate age-appropriate activities in a faith-filled environment.

You will help maintain safety, well-being, and a welcoming setting, while upholding confidentiality and Catholic values in all interactions with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a safe and positive environment for children.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during aftercare hours, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Monitor student behavior and promote a positive, respectful atmosphere.
• Assist students with homework and age-appropriate activities.
• Organize recreational, educational, and enrichment activities.
• Maintain attendance and sign-out records.
• Verify authorized pick-up procedures and communicate with parents/guardians.
