Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team. BTs provide 1-1 specialized treatment in home-based settings, partnering with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to deliver services to children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Experience supporting children with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation to commute to work locations.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and company policies.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to document accurately.
• Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 3:45-8:15; Wed 6:00-8:15.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report on the treatment plan.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients during sessions; this includes movement and lifting as needed.
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
