Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians to join our national behavioral health team. You will provide 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with BCBAs to children on the autism spectrum in their homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Experience supporting children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred with training provided.
• Reliable personal transportation to commute to work locations.
• Maintain confidentiality of client, family and organizational information under HIPAA.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication, follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report outcomes of the treatment plan.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors and others involved.
• Physically keep up with clients during sessions with activities such as standing, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting and more.
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
