Cosmo 1:1 is an online tutoring platform offering 1:1 lessons with a 50-minute format. Tutors set their own schedule and work with students based in North America.

This independent contractor role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience in K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL, with reliable internet and a home workspace. Availability is 20+ hours per week, 3–10 PM EST on weekdays or weekends, and a commitment of at least 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of teaching experience in grades K-12 ELA, ESL, or EFL.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in Cosmo App.
• Prepare age-appropriate lesson materials.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Communicate with Cosmo staff.
