Job summary

Cosmo 1:1 is an online learning platform connecting K-12 students with tutors for personalized lessons. You set a flexible, consistent schedule and deliver 50‑minute 1-on-1 sessions using the Cosmo curriculum.

This independent contractor role pays $20 USD per class plus incentives. Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years of K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL teaching, reliable internet, and a 6‑month commitment with at least 20 hours weekly, available 3–10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of teaching K-12 ELA/ESL/EFL experience.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards.
• Reliable internet and a Windows or Mac PC.
• Commit to minimum 6 months and 20+ hours weekly.
• Available 3–10 PM EST Mon–Fri or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 instruction for students.
• Update availability in the Cosmo App promptly.
• Prepare lesson materials suitable for age and ability.
• Submit class feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate professionally with parents and students.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
• Coordinate with Cosmo staff.
