Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking an on-call Substitute Teacher to support mixed-age classrooms (0–6) when full-time teachers are unavailable. No formal Montessori training is required; training is provided during orientation and onboarding.

This role offers flexible hours and the chance to transition into full-time Assistant Teacher roles. You will step into classrooms as needed, assist with daily routines, and help create a calm, engaging learning environment while collaborating with school

Qualifications

• TB test negative within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups.
