Role is on-call/part-time with hours varying by school needs. This position offers an entry path to full-time Assistant Teacher roles and emphasizes a calm, nurturing learning environment for young children.

Qualifications

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months
• Valid state background check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor
• Passion for working with young children
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) units (preferred)
• Recent experience working with children ages 0–6 (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups
• Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care
• Model patience, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction
