Guidepost Montessori is hiring an on-call Substitute Teacher to support mixed-age classrooms for children aged 0–6. This is a flexible, as-needed role ideal for individuals seeking part-time or supplemental work. No formal Montessori training required; orientation provides training.

You’ll collaborate with staff to ensure smooth transitions and a calm, engaging learning environment while potentially progressing to full-time Assistant Teacher roles.

Qualifications

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) units preferred.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups.
