Job summary

Senior Care Therapy in New Jersey is hiring a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist LMFT to provide skilled therapy in subacute and long-term care settings, with flexible day hours and autonomy. The role offers part-time or full-time options, with a salary range of $56,000 to $90,000 and an uncapped bonus opportunity, plus benefits and a 401(k) match.

You will work with a psychologist-led team and access supportive mentorship.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state applying for.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with regulatory focus.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities, up to 45 minutes.
• Mobility to move between patient rooms and offices within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
