Job summary

Senior Care Therapy seeks licensed mental health counselors to provide in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents in skilled nursing facilities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, offering flexible hours and no administrative burden.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LMHC license in the state of application.
• Excellent English communication, both oral and written.
• Proficient with technology and EHR systems.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with regulatory focus.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities for up to 45 minutes.
• Vaccination status may be required in some facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation per regulatory standards using the provided EHR.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
