Job summary

Opaa! is seeking kitchen staff on an as-needed basis to assist with meal service across serving lines and kitchen areas. Responsibilities include food preparation per menu plans, maintaining proper temperatures, and ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.

Candidate should be able to handle equipment like dishwashers, mixers, ovens, and slicers, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality presentation of food.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred; or up to one month of related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set-up of serving lines and ensure food is held at correct temperatures.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes.
• Operate equipment safely with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Maintain FIFO stock and clean cooler/storage racks.
• Support cash handling and POS operations during service.
