Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment and deliver excellent customer service. You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and assist in identifying theft, reporting incidents to the Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a presence at store entrances/exits and high-risk areas to deter theft.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and energetic greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates per safety standards.
