Burlington Stores in Houston is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to deter theft and deliver excellent customer service at entry points and high-risk areas. You will greet customers warmly, maintain security standards, and uphold company values in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes monitoring for theft, reporting incidents to the Manager on Duty, and assisting in shortage reduction training while supporting store leadership. Flexible scheduling is required.

Formación

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers
• Excellent leadership skills that support fostering productive business relationships

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times, wearing the designated dress standards, radio and earpiece
• Stand positioned at the front of the store, remaining vigilant and aware of your surroundings
• Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm smile and a loud, friendly greeting
• Create a secure environment and reduce opportunities for theft
• Identify and report theft incidents and/or suspicious subject(s) to the Manager on Duty
• Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes
• Role-model safety as a top priority and address any unsafe practices promptly
