PACS in Kentucky is seeking a transport aide to assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles and to transport them to scheduled medical appointments and activities. The role requires a valid driver’s license, GPS familiarity, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 25 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Familiar with GPS and local driving area.
• No major driving offenses in 7 years; pass drug screen and background check.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with loading/unloading from facility vehicles.
• Transport residents to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain interior and exterior of facility vehicles; keep maintenance logs.
• Be flexible with work time to accommodate late appointments or activities.
• Demonstrate safe clinical-based transfer techniques for residents.
• Lift and mobilize residents up to 75 pounds in confined spaces.
