Job summary

Lowe’s in Waxhaw, NC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products. You will assist with locating merchandise, answer questions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

This part-time role offers opportunities for growth, access to Lowe’s benefits, and exposure to a variety of departments. You may lift and move merchandise and frequently use store technology.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer to input, access, modify information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit for long periods and perform duties as required.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing shelves and organizing displays.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to improve service.
• Prepare merchandise in department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
