Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate in North Carolina. You will welcome customers, help them find the right products for home improvement, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service throughout the shopping experience.

Daily duties include assisting in locating items, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, and training in other store areas as needed. The role emphasizes safety, customer care, and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing shelves and keeping areas tidy
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
