Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Per Diem Days Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home health physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT. You will work in patients’ homes within the Fort Worth area, developing and implementing plans of care and supporting patient mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, coordinating with the care team, and participating in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the state of assignment.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• One year of home health PTA experience recommended; regional leadership approval if less.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under supervision of physical therapist.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Coordinate with care team and plan of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate medical records.
