Jobot is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing technology company in Irvine, CA. You will support the monthly close, own reconciliations, schedules, and transactional processes as the accounting team scales.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and exposure to NetSuite or similar ERP systems; a Bachelor's in Accounting is required. This role offers a path to senior roles and broad exposure to revenue and audits.

Qualifications

• 1 year of accounting experience is required.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries and accruals as part of the monthly close
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting documentation
• Support revenue and deferred revenue schedules, including billing and contract data
• Process accounts payable, expense reports, and corporate card transactions
• Maintain prepaid, accrual, and fixed asset schedules
• Prepare recurring reports and assist with flux analysis for leadership
• Support the annual audit by preparing requested schedules and documentation
• Help improve close processes, system workflows, and documentation as the company scales
