Job summary

Leoforce in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage general ledger, close processes, and financial reporting. The role supports internal controls and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data.

The successful candidate will have 4–7 years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and advanced Excel skills. Manufacturing ERP experience is a plus, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, incl. pivot tables and lookups.
• Experience with an ERP or manufacturing ERP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including monthly accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes and financial reporting.
• Prepare analysis of income statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules.
• Investigate discrepancies, variances, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support internal controls and respond to audits.
