Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
- Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
- Active DEA License.
- Proficiency with EMR systems.
- Compassionate, motivated, and a strong collaborator.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care by completing history and physicals on new patients and conducting routine rounding (minimum once per week).
- Partner with APPs to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring compliance and clinical excellence.
- Oversee APP performance and mentor the clinical team.
- Close quality gaps when prompted, driving measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advocate for patients and represent Curana Health’s mission and values.
