Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the St. Vincent Hospital Resource Pool in Billings, MT. You will float across Medical-Surgical and other units, providing safe, evidence-based care with a 10% float differential.

Roles include coverage across days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll gain broad clinical exposure alongside interdisciplinary teams in a mission-driven environment while exploring cross-training into specialty units.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start.
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
• Willingness and ability to float across multiple units.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with less than 12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years.
• BSN is required as of the last update (4/27/2025).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions.
