Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the St. Vincent Hospital Resource Pool in Billings, Montana. RNs will float across Medical‑Surgical and other units, ensuring safe staffing and high-quality care.

A 10% float differential recognizes flexibility, with cross-training opportunities and support from interdisciplinary teams. Required are active RN licenses, 1 year RN experience, BLS, and BSN within four years for those under 12 months experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in practicing state
• BSN must be from an accredited program
• Compact licenses must transfer within 60 days
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• Ability to float across multiple units

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care across inpatient units
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Adapt to different units and patient populations
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes
• Educate patients and families for recovery and safe transitions of care
• Maintain documentation per regulatory standards
