Job summary

You’ll float to medical-surgical and other units, providing safe care across shifts with a 10% float differential and opportunities for cross-training and skill advancement.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Willingness to float across multiple units
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• BSN within 4 years for RNs with <12 months experience
• BSN required; accredited program; updated 4/27/2025

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Adapt quickly to different units, populations, and acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care
• Uphold professional, ethical, and organizational standards of nursing practice
