Job summary

Intermountain Health's St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Resource Pool (Float Pool). You will float to Medical‑Surgical and other units, ensuring safe staffing and high‑quality care across days, nights, and holidays with a 10% float differential.

We value flexibility, professional growth, and teamwork within a mission‑driven environment. A BSN is required or must be obtained within four years for new hires.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Willingness to float across multiple units.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN required or to be obtained within 4 years if less than 12 months experience.
• BSN required as of 4/27/2025 update.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence‑based nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care.
• Uphold professional, ethical, and organizational standards of nursing practice.
