Intermountain Health’s St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Resource Pool to float across inpatient units. You’ll support safe staffing, provide high-quality care, and earn a 10% float differential for flexibility and versatility.

This role offers coverage across days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for cross-training into specialty departments as you grow within the pool and organization.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start.
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience.
• Willingness to float across multiple units at St. Vincent Hospital.
• BSN required; education from an accredited institution; degree verification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families for recovery and safe transitions of care.
• Uphold nursing standards of professional practice.
