Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Resource Pool (Float Pool). This role covers days, nights, weekends, and holidays across multiple units, with a 10% float differential and opportunities for cross-training.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
• Willingness and ability to float across multiple units.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.
• Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations.
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care.
• Uphold professional, ethical, and organizational nursing standards.
