Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the St. Vincent Hospital Resource Pool in Billings, MT. This float pool role offers coverage across days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a 10% differential to reward flexibility and cross-unit skills.

Starting in Medical‑Surgical, there are opportunities for cross-training into specialty units. A BSN is required by policy, with BSN verification and ongoing education emphasized.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice
• Compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience
• Willingness to float across multiple units

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians, care managers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Continuously monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care
• Uphold professional and organizational nursing standards
