Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to deliver in-home 1-1 ABA treatment for children from birth to 21 in New Jersey. The role supports BCBA-designed plans in a home setting, with Monday–Friday evening shifts (5pm–8pm) and flexible part-time options.

You will collect progress data, assist families with treatment implementation, and communicate clearly with families and supervisors. Reliable transport and HIPAA-compliant confidentiality are required; compensation is competitive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report results of the treatment plan.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other parties.
• Assist clients with movement during sessions (standing, sitting, lifting 25+ pounds) and keep pace with children aged 2–15.
• Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA as needed.
• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 5pm-8pm.
