Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered to join the team.

Flexible schedules, competitive pay, paid training, benefits, and mileage reimbursement accompany this role. As a DSP, you’ll assist clients with daily living skills and help them live as independently as possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or pass a training program.
• Successful background check and in-service trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with IDD at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation).
• Encourage participation in social activities and community events.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately.
• Communicate with team to ensure consistent, quality support.
