Job summary

SIXT is hiring in Portland for a customer service role focused on delivering exceptional rental experiences. You will greet customers, handle vehicle returns, and ensure accurate charges, while promoting SIXT products.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1+ year in customer service, and a valid driver’s license. The role requires 40 hours weekly, with day or evening shifts and some travel; uniforms are provided, and multilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year of customer service experience preferred in sales, service, or hospitality.
Must be 18 years or older; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Basic computer navigation skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts; travel 5–10% (air travel may be required).
Willingness to wear a company uniform; multilingual abilities a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet customers on arrival and provide a friendly, professional return experience.
Inspect vehicles for damage, fuel, and mileage and report findings through proper channels.
Complete return transactions accurately and explain final rental charges to customers.
Promote SIXT products and services to enhance the customer experience.
Identify vehicles needing maintenance and move them to the correct location.
Work in varying weather conditions and perform additional tasks as needed.
