Job summary

SIXT USA in Boston is seeking a customer-focused Rental Associate to warmly welcome customers, inspect vehicles, complete returns, and promote SIXT products. You’ll help ensure accurate charges and smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year of customer service, a valid US driver’s license, and willingness to work 40 hours weekly in day or evening shifts, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Background in sales, service, or hospitality.
• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Basic computer navigation skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts; travel 5–10%.
• Willing to wear a company uniform; language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers on arrival and deliver a friendly, professional return experience.
• Inspect rentals for damage, fuel, and mileage; report issues through proper channels.
• Complete returns accurately and explain final charges to customers.
• Promote SIXT products and services where applicable during returns.
• Identify vehicles needing maintenance and move them to the correct location.
• Work in varied weather conditions and take on additional tasks as needed.
