Job summary

SIXT in Portland, OR is seeking a customer service–oriented Rental Associate to welcome customers, inspect vehicles, and ensure a smooth return experience. You will process returns, communicate final charges, and promote SIXT products to enhance the guest experience.

The role requires basic computer skills, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year in customer service, with a willingness to work 40 hours per week in day or evening shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Background in sales, service, or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a friendly return experience.
• Inspect rental vehicles for damage, fuel levels, and mileage; direct issues to appropriate channels.
• Complete return transactions and advise on final charges.
• Promote SIXT products and services where applicable.
• Identify and tag vehicles for maintenance and move them to the correct location.
• Work in varying weather conditions and perform additional tasks as needed.
