Job summary

MedScope, a healthcare technology provider, seeks Field Technician/Installer for a 1099 contractor role in Virginia. You will coordinate appointments, deliver, install and test personal emergency response equipment in clients' homes, and educate users on operation.

Responsibilities include SLA-driven scheduling, documenting work, and ensuring safety and compliance. Must have own vehicle, valid license, and strong communication skills. Travel to member homes is required.

Qualifications

• Own a vehicle and valid driver’s license, registration, and auto insurance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet SLA-driven timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of emergency response equipment in clients’ homes
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation
• Maintain records of installations and service calls
• Collaborate with support and coordinators for seamless member service
• Obtain signatures via Docusign during installations
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during installations
